My headphones are making a 'ping-ing' sound, what is this?

If your headphones are making a continuous ping-ing sound and the Power LED is flashing red and blue, this means your headphones are currently in pairing mode.

What this means:
Your headphones are searching for a Bluetooth device to connect to such as your phone, TV Streamer, tablet, or computer.

How to fix it:

  • Open the Bluetooth settings on your preferred device (e.g., mobile phone, TV Streamer, or tablet).
  • Select “Audeara A-02” (or your headphone name) from the list of available Bluetooth devices.
  • Once paired, the ping-ing sound will stop, and the LED Light Indicator will change to a flashing blue light, indicating a successful connection.

If your headphones continue to “ping” after pairing, try turning them off and back on again, then reconnect to your device.
