Follow the steps below to factory reset your Audeara Buds, please note this will restore the device to its original state.
Please note, performing a factory reset will clear the following user configuration:
• Device name
• Hearing profile
• Capacitive touch settings
• Device pairing list
• Ambient volume level
How to factory reset your Audeara Buds
- Ensure the Buds are in the Smart Charging Case with the lid open.
- Long hold the + and – buttons on the Smart Charging Case for 15 seconds until the LED Light Indicators flash orange 3 times.
Expected behaviour of the device following a factory reset
Following a factory reset of the device, the following will occur:
- The buds will re-connect to the case. Both the Left and Right Bud LEDs (small circle lights) on the case will either show one green and one red, or two red.
- Successful re-connection. Both the Left and Right Bud LEDs (small circle lights) on the case will flash green to indicate when the buds have re-connected to the case.
- The case will automatically enter Pairing Mode. All three LEDs will cycle blue (Right Bud → Left Bud → Charging Case).
- Connect to your phone. Navigate to the Bluetooth device settings on your phone, ensure that Bluetooth is on and select “Audeara Buds” to connect.
- Successful connection. The LED Light Indicators will flash blue to confirm when you have successfully connected to your phone.

There are three LED Light Indicators on the Smart Charging Case. Two circle lights – one to indicate the battery level for each bud. There is also a long bar light to indicate the battery level for the case.
