No sound through the TV? How to reset and reconnect the TV Streamer

Resetting and re-pairing your A-02 TV Bundle

If your TV Streamer was working previously, but has stopped sending audio, first check the connection status:

  1. Ensure your TV Streamer is is turned on:
    1. If the power cable is plugged into the wall, ensure the switch is turned on.
    2. If the power cable is plugged into the TV, ensure the TV is turned on.
  2. Press the ‘Multifunction (middle) Button’ on the front of the TV Streamer to wake up the LED Screen.
  3. On the screen, locate the headphone icon:
    1. If the headphone icon has a capital "A" inside, the headphones are paired and connected. If this is the case, it may be a TV setting – see here for instructions
    2. If the headphone icon does not have a capital “A” inside, the headphones are paired but disconnected. If this is the case, follow the steps below to quickly reconnect.

First, you will need to disconnect your TV Streamer from all devices. Follow the steps below:

  1. Simultaneously hold down the ‘A’ and ‘B’ buttons for 3 seconds
  2. The screen will read 'Reset Device'
  3. The screen will read 'Long Press A or B to pair'. This indicates that the streamer has now been reset and is ready to connect to any device.

To pair your TV Streamer:

  1. Hold the ‘A’ Button down for 3 seconds or until the screen says “Searching” and release the button 

To pair your Headphones:

  1. Put the headphones into Pairing Mode by holding down the 'Multifunction (middle) Button' on the left ear cup for 3 seconds. For more information on putting your headphones into pairing mode, see here.
  2. Once both the TV Streamer and the Headphones are in Pairing Mode, the TV Streamer will discover the headphones and the name will appear on its screen.
  3. Using the ‘A’ button to navigate up and ‘B’ button to navigate down, highlight the headphones you would like to connect to on the screen.
  4. Select the headphones by pressing the Multifunction (middle) Button on the TV Streamer.
  5. The TV Streamer will now connect to the selected device. You will hear an audible prompt from your headphones that says "Connected".

You should now be able to hear audio through the connected headphones.
